Warming up the sound system…Loading Three.js from the CDN.
Buy an installed lighting tier once, then pay its operating cost each night. More appeal, happiness and energy depend on a connected stage, sufficient power and an operating rig.
Purchases are available between nights. This is separate from the per-night effects hired in Show. The camera's Light show button changes visual intensity only.
Start with an unlicensed field party. Build a reputation for great nights, balance the books, and grow into a full festival. Your first setup is ready: press Open the doors.
Choose 2–28 characters. You can rename your business once per game; the name is saved with your progress.
Watch the forecast. It includes the bill you pay before the doors open, so leave a cash reserve. Friday and Saturday draw the biggest crowds. Consecutive nights exhaust your audience and add heat; rest days help. A lower volume and stronger security reduce risk, and the volume scale runs red towards the top. Two stars sit on each side of your reputation. They light at 25, 50, 75 and 100. Security and medical have their own tab. Bar stock and the underground shortcut are on the Bar tab. Medical cover softens incidents.
Select a build item, then click the grid. Facilities must touch a path connected to the entrance. Speaker capacity, toilets, chill space, bar stock and generator power all matter. Speaker+ and Gen+ are stronger versions of the basic kit. Try them and watch coverage and power. Left-click a placed item to select it, then right-click the same item to open Sell & remove. Right-drag still pans the camera. Selling is available between nights. Moving is free; selling returns only part of the cost.
Venue & rig offers four expansions for every destination, reaching three times its base capacity. Each upgrade widens the playable grid and leaves your equipment in place. Larger sites bring higher rent, security demand and facility requirements. Demand grows gradually: spare land alone does not guarantee a profitable crowd. You can keep building after completing the festival milestone.
The Lights tile in the bottom building bar opens your lighting upgrade review; Venue & rig shows the same installed equipment. Compare the purchase price, nightly operating fee, reputation and power requirements before buying. Four permanent upgrades improve attendance appeal, happiness and crowd energy when the stage is connected and the rig is powered. Hired Show effects remain separate per-night bookings. The camera Light show button remains a visual comfort control.
The Show tab hires lasers, haze, confetti and spark jets when your reputation, rig and crew qualify. Their costs, reserved power, energy, draw and heat feed the simulation. Wind suspends outdoor haze; rain and wind suspend outdoor confetti and spark jets. A failed sound system suspends the show; hire costs remain. Easter, Halloween and Santa editions can be booked on any game date, with themed scenery, soundtracks, increased appeal and extra operating demands.
Tonight’s Outlook stays open while you change any event tab. Drag its grip to reposition it on desktop; on mobile it stays at the bottom. Expand Event cost breakdown to review every charge. Forecasts update while editing, then switch to actual figures when the doors open. Management panels extend to the bottom of the screen; use the wheel or touch to scroll through all controls.
On desktop, use Float panel to keep any tab open as an independent module. Open several modules together and move them by their six-dot grips; Dock returns one to its tab. Reset panel positions restores the whole workspace. Your module positions are saved, and narrow screens automatically return to ordinary tabs. You can also drag the six-dot grip on either main panel. The build bar turns vertical while dragging; move to the left edge to dock it. Drag back to the bottom edge to restore the horizontal bar. Your dock position and orientation are remembered. Focus a grip and use the arrow keys for precise movement; hold Shift for bigger steps. Escape cancels a drag. Your layout is remembered. On narrow screens, panels return to the compact layout.
In Dealers, choose your authorised count and toggle Ex, Coke, Speed and Ket. The labels are equivalent. How many dealers you allow, and how many labels you permit, changes the fee, the take, the door and the trouble. Rival dealers may muscle in with unapproved stock; security can eject them. Watch the night and the Events tab to learn the balance.
The Night panel shows a unique illustrated mixing console for every DJ level; unlocked cards can be selected directly. Venue & rig compares the installed sound system with its next physical upgrade. Outdoor nights show a star-filled sky and occasional shooting stars. Rain clouds hide most of the stars, while wind leaves a thinner starfield visible. Moving clouds, rainfall and gusts follow the actual in-game weather; rain affects turnout and wind can strain the rig. The weather indicator shows current conditions.
The Events tab and each important event stay lit until you click that event or the night ends. Warning highlights and the unread count clear after every night; the history remains available to read. Days have separate expandable sections, with times and response buttons beside each event. Dealer policy warnings also appear here. Available responses include: lower volume, hire extra security, fund welfare, suspend dealer activity, repair a failed rig, or close early when available. Every response has a real cost or consequence. Pause & review gives you time to decide; each event accepts one response.
Noise, overcrowding and dealer activity raise authority heat. Complaints, raids, fights, weather, rival nights and sound failures can eat into your profit. Local Arrangements at the bottom of Events may reduce heat, but repeated use increases long-term scrutiny. Three raids mean a permanent ban. If a night ends with negative cash, an unused rescue loan may give you one chance to recover. After that rescue is used, negative cash ends the run.
Build your name, one night at a time.
Unlock all six venues, reach 80 reputation, and finish a clean, profitable festival night with at least 100 guests (run at least 90% of the set). Completing that milestone unlocks a lasting festival achievement; Continue building lets you expand and run more nights. One game hour lasts 18 real seconds at normal speed. The simulation pauses when the tab is hidden.
Opening the doors starts the music. Test the speakers here.
Opening the doors enables original synthesised techno unless you have muted it. The speaker button toggles music and effects; use Test sound above to hear two diagnostic tones and resume browser audio. Nineteen original tracks cover acid, dub, Detroit, warehouse, industrial, melodic and seasonal techno. Tracks share a common beat clock and compatible key, repeat their phrases, and automatically blend into the next track. Next mix queues a transition at the next bar. Sound-system quality adds musical layers, while a breakdown cuts the music until the rig recovers.
If you cannot cover the next night’s upfront bill, the Night panel may offer one rescue loan for the run. Review the cash added, fixed 20% fee and total due, then accept only if you want the debt. The game automatically repays 25% of positive operating profit after each night, capped at the balance remaining. Loss-making nights make no repayment; the fee never compounds. The offer cannot be used again after repayment and cannot reverse a permanent ban.
Autosave runs between nights and after changes. Manual saving works during a night too. Browser storage may be unavailable for local files; use Export save for a portable backup.
